About Daniel Archer

Daniel Archer (b. 1990) was raised on the outskirts of Melbourne, where he developed an early fascination with the Australian sun and its shifting qualities of light. The interplay of shadow and illumination became a defining influence, shaping his instinct for atmosphere and image-making.

Archer’s work draws from the worlds of painting and cinema, exploring themes of beauty, distortion and emotional ambiguity. Rooted in both observation and imagination, his photographs feel at once intimate and otherworldly, acting as a canvas for inner worlds.

Archer has created imagery for Prada, Dior, and Maison Margiela.
